Getting Crowned?

Broomfield dental crowns are used to restore your smile, and help it look and feel like normal

Getting a dental crown isn’t quite as exhilarating as being crowned for homecoming or at a rodeo event. However, it does have very positive effect on your dental health. A tooth crown can be used for many different reasons, such as supporting an implant or a tooth that is having trouble maintaining a filling. Sometimes crowns are also used to hold a weak tooth together, so it doesn’t have to be replaced. A crown basically restores your tooth to its normal shape and size. Crowns sit on top of your teeth, and give them strong support and improved appearance. They help one avoid getting a root canal or even a tooth extraction. They are made to custom fit your teeth. If you are interested in learning more about your options with Broomfield dental crowns, give us a call at (303) 466-2935 at any time. We are available 24/7.

What Is A Tooth Crown?

Broomfield dental crowns are a simple and easy way to make sure your tooth stays strong and durable

There are two different parts to your tooth: the part that you can’t see (which is the root) and the visible part (which is the crown). A Broomfield tooth crown covers the entire part of your visible tooth. It‘s like a cap that sits on top of the tooth and acts as a shield for external substances that may harm a weak tooth. Crowns can be made out of porcelain or metal, and are cemented to your tooth for durability. Crowns last a long time and can improve the appearance of your tooth. Sometimes people choose to get a crown simply because they have a discolored tooth. At Retro Dental Group, we provide a charming and unique atmosphere in order for you to have the best quality dental procedures void of anxiety or fear. If you are interested in learning more about caps or a Broomfield tooth crown, give us a call at (303) 466-2935 any time. We are also available for you to schedule an appointment 24/7.

"How To Care For A Crown"

Broomfield dental crowns are easy to take care of… just like your real teeth

"I want to make sure, before you shy away from getting a crown that you know they are very simple to care for. You can treat them just like your normal teeth. Make sure you are brushing and flossing everyday, and getting your regular visits to our office for your cleaning. The only thing different in caring for crowns is that you should pay a little more attention to the part of your original tooth that is just above the gum line. This is to make sure bacteria and plaque do not build up in the area and potentially cause an infection. As long as you care for your teeth like you normally would, a crown is nothing to worry about--- especially in our pleasant and relaxing environment. I look forward to serving you and your family for all of your dental needs."
